Daneel is an architect based in Liverpool with a background in educational and public architecture. He has worked internationally, including in China, and studied at the Liverpool School of Architecture and the Bauhaus. His research-led approach underpins both practice and scholarship—he is currently completing a PhD on the vernacular architecture of the Akha communities in Southeast Asia. Daneel is a contributor to the Encyclopedia of Vernacular Architecture of the World (2nd edition) and co-author of Opportunities for tidal range projects beyond energy generation: Using Mersey barrage as a case study.
